Flushing, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The St. Louis Cardinals have optioned pitcher
Fernando Salas to Triple-A Memphis and recalled pitcher Mike MacDougal from
the same club.
Salas has bounced back and forth between the major and minor leagues in 2010.
The right-hander has posted a 2.31 earned run average in 10 relief outings
over five different stints with the Cardinals so far this season.
MacDougal started the year with Washington and pitched at the Double-A and
Triple-A levels before joining St. Louis. In a combined three stops in the
minors, he was 6-1 with a 4.45 ERA in 26 appearances.
During the course of a nine-year big league career, the 33-year-old right-
hander is 14-21 with a 4.09 ERA and 70 saves in 314 appearances with the
Royals, White Sox and Nationals.

The Giants won and covered all four games last summer, improving their record to 7-1 both straight up (SU) and against the spread over the last two years.
Coughlin has shown he’s not afraid to give his starters more time in the second preseason game than most of his colleagues, no doubt one of the reasons his team has been so dominant.
Dallas Cowboys betting lines

First-time head coach Lane Kiffin will be eager to impress an owner who employs the philosophy, “Just win, baby!”
The 32-year-old Kiffin has to command respect from a locker room full of players older than him. All of these factors should lead to purpose in preseason.
