Chiefs sign DT Shaun Smith

Kansas City, MO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Kansas City Chiefs announced Wednesday
the signing of defensive tackle Shaun Smith.
Terms of the deal were not released.
Smith appeared in only three games for the Bengals last season and recorded
eight combined tackles.
For his career, the 28-year-old Smith has played in 63 games -- 27 starts --
with the Saints, Bengals and Browns. He has 196 combined tackles, two sacks,
three passes defensed and two forced fumbles. He entered the league as a
rookie free agent in 2003, spending time on the Cowboys' practice squad that
season.
